Parking at UVU
All vehicles parked on campus require a parking permit.
We anticipate significant parking and traffic congestion at the beginning of each
semester. The following suggestions may speed up your parking experience:
- Allow extra time to commute to campus and find a parking spot.
- Ride UTA.
- The parking garage is a cost-effective alternative at just $1 per hour.
Please understand that purchasing a parking permit does not guarantee a parking spot
in a desired location.
How to park at UVU
Parking Services offers 3 semester and 1 semester permits. A parking permit is required
during the summer.
Your license plate is your permit and no physical permit is required.
Certain parking lots fill up first in the morning — lots L3, L5, L6, L8, L14, M21,
and M25. These lots are close to campus buildings, making the demand for spots in
these lots very high. If you want to park in these lots, you will need to plan accordingly.
We highly recommend when parking is congested that you park in lots L9, L10, or M29.
These lots are slightly farther away but the demand and competition are much lower.
You can park and walk to class from these lots in an average of 10 minutes.
